Rabab is a 30-year-old lady who had five children. She was exposed continuously to physical and sexual abuse from her husband, who forced her to sexual intercourse. He even sexually harass his brother's wife in front of her, also forced his wife to talk to male strangers through online chat rooms.
Rabab's husband prevented her to visit her parents, or communicate with any of her neighbors as well as giving up supporting his children as a result of nonhuman situation Rabab suffered from depression, which required treatment with specialists and use of medications.
Rabab preferred to be patient of her husband's behavior for the sake of her children, but when she is no longer able to bear, she went to the center to receive psychosocial help as well as to seek divorce and to demand the right to alimony.
Due to her complex economic conditions, Rabab was selected as one of the beneficiaries of the sewing machines projects. she trained then received the machine that enabled her to produce clothes for children. She also joined a local sewing factories with the help of the center.
Rabab later gave up drugs of depression, also showed signs of positive psychological change and become more able to take decisions independently.
